Porcelain Jasper is also known as Sci-Fi Jasper and Exotica Jasper. It is found near Sonora, Sierra Madre, Mexico. The stone has a cream or white background with gray, mauve, maroon, and plum colors mixed in to create truly beautiful patterns. The stone was formed when volcanic magma moved down the Sierra Madres and picked up fragments of clay and marl, fusing it all together in the extremely hot temperatures.
